Deacon Larry was ordained in 1999 and served as a parish deacon here from 2010 to 2017. On his 75th birthday he was named a Senior Deacon and retired. However, he returns to preach at weekend Holy Mass at least ten times a year. He also continues to assist Sister Cathy with the baptism preparation program. Deacon Larry is a volunteer Chaplain at Hildebrandt Hospice and for the Monroe County Office of Probation and Community Based Corrections.
